How to temporarily disable IPv4 on an interface within Linux

Case:

   We want to disable IPv4 on an interface


Solution:

   sudo ip -4 addr flush dev enp0s1


Explanation:

   The above command removes all IPv4 addresses for interface enp0s1. Important, remember that this disabling is only temporary.
